Leadenham Litte Acorns Pre-School
Leadenham Little Acorns a Pre-School for children aged between 2-4 based in Leadenham CE Primary School.
We believe that it is important for children to be in a safe, secure and nurturing environment. At Little Acorns Pre-School we give the children the opportunity to explore and learn by following their interests and encouraging the children to reach their goals.
~A place to grow~
We are a term time only Pre-School, offering a loving environment for children aged two to five years. We nurture the children throughout their fundamental years and prepare and encourage independence for the wider world. We offer spaces for children from the age of 2 either as privately paid for places by parents/guardians and FREE Government funded spaces for eligible 2-, 3- and 4-year-olds.
Eligible 2-year-olds can access up to 15 hours of funded hours per week from the Government.
3- and 4-year-olds all receive 15 hours of funded hours per week from the Government the term after their third birthday; with some 3 to 4 years olds eligible to access 30 hours of funded hours per week.

Our Pre-School opening hours are:
Monday to Friday 8.45am/9.00am – 3.00pm/3.15pm
Our Pre-School is accessible to all children, providing children with adventures and opportunities that are child-led and engaging, promoting all areas in the Early Years Foundation Stage and emphasising on an active learning approach.
We believe that children develop at their own pace and provide appropriate activities for children to achieve their developmental goals through a high-quality play experience. Promoting outdoor play, we emphasis on the health benefits that the outdoors provides.
Our Pre-school has a dedicated, loving team, valuing the importance of positive relationships and partnerships with parents and carers. Each child has a key person; a key person observes and plans effectively alongside the children’s interests. We upload observations onto Tapestry which parents have access to; we believe it is important for parents to be involved in their child’s development. Tapestry gives parents the opportunity to upload observations for the staff to see, encouraging positive parent partnership.
We offer a wraparound care service, including breakfast club and afterschool club throughout the term, and holiday club during the holidays, for children aged three to eleven years with various sessions starting from 7.45am until 6pm.
